Browser voices are free and need no API key, but voice quality depends on your browser and operating system, and you can't export an .MP3. To save .MP3 files, choose Google or Azure.

Speech recognition (STT) is free, needs no API key, and works best in Chrome or Edge. API keys are only used for the read-aloud feature (TTS) and are stored in this browser (localStorage) on your device.
